Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cardora (“Cardora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Cardora app for iPhone. Cardora is a single-player Blackjack game that uses virtual Practice Chips. Practice Chips have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, and cannot be purchased. Cardora does not offer real-money gambling.

What we collect

For Cardora 1.0, the information associated with your identity is limited to:

These correspond to the disclosures in Cardora’s App Store privacy information: Email Address and User ID, collected for App Functionality. Both are linked to your identity, and neither is used to track you.

Why we collect it

We collect this information solely to make the app work — what the App Store calls “App Functionality.” Specifically, we use it to:

We do not use your email address or user identifier for advertising or tracking.

Sign in with Apple & guest accounts

Cardora offers two ways to play:

If you start as a guest and later choose to secure your account, you can link your guest account to Sign in with Apple. This associates your existing account with the email address and identifier described above.

Accounts, authentication & security

We use your account identifier and session information to authenticate you and keep you signed in. You remain in control of your sessions:

We take reasonable measures designed to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

On-device gameplay data

Your Practice gameplay is designed around your device. Practice Chips, hands you play, and the statistics Cardora shows you — such as hands played, wins, losses, pushes, blackjacks, busts, win percentage, and average wager — are handled on your device. Because Practice Chips have no cash value and cannot be redeemed or purchased, they are simply part of the local practice experience.

No advertising, no tracking, no sale

Retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the associated account information, except where we are required to retain limited records by law.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time:

  1. Open Cardora and go to Profile.
  2. Choose Delete Account.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

Account deletion is permanent. Deleting your account removes your Cardora account and its associated account information. This cannot be undone.

Age requirement

Cardora is intended for adults and is rated for users 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this page. Your continued use of Cardora after an update means you accept the revised policy.
